Question: How do people perceive living in Texas?

When I first started my project I tried to think of the stereo types that people have on Texas. I wanted to create a piece that people who are not a native texan would picture Texas like. To start off I found an image off the internet of Downtown Dallas. I adjusted the brightness and curves to create different light sources on to the cars in the road. I think placed the picture of the cows in the middle of the road. I created a layer mask and used a soft brush to go around the edges of the cows to that it would blend smoothly. After I created the shadow on the road of the cows to add more depth to my piece and took down the opacity. 

To finish off my first Sustained Investigation piece I did some adjustments on the cows to create the different light sources coming from the clouds. For my next project I am going to add on to more Texan things and carry on the cows into my next piece.
